Chicken Little, the Sky is Falling!

We knew the basement floor was to be smashed up today, but imagine my surprise when I could see the sky from the living room!


Here is the original front facade that was hidden under the porch roof; and the view to the skies.



The basement floor all smashed up, and Andreas showing the very thin floor, only about 2 inches thick

The floor under the front porch is much thicker, it is only 20 years old instead of 60 years like the rest of the house.
