The cat managed to get into the trap, eat some food and then get back out again. She didn't even trip the trap. As far as we know, she went right back under the tub. The neighbour called to ask if it was ok if her and her teenage daughter brought over their sleeping bags and camped out for the night. They are hoping the cat will come out at night. Andreas keeps looking at me with a grimace and is repeating under his breath, "we are never getting a cat, never..."
Later she called to say she had rigged the bathroom vanity door so that if the cat when out from under the tub - the access hatch is within the vanity - the door should close behind her and therefore she would not be able to get back under the tub.
We also stopped in to see the trim work that Boris was continuing to work on - putting quarter round on all the baseboards.
Andreas also set up the trap again, just in case.
