Today I went on my own to search out some granite. After looking last week and not really liking anything, I took the opportunity to go to a recommended importer.
The sales guy was good; he explained a lot to me but couldn't really price anything since we were using a fabricator and they price it out for you. Good news is that he knew of the fabricator and had dealt with them before.
Out of this afternoon, 3 options are in the running. One is quite dark, so it's not really being considered. The other two are these ones:
Madura Gold
Giallo Ornamental
The second one, Giallo Ornamental(e) is my personal favourite. The other one is nice but I think it's got too much of the rust colour and with all the cabinets being that reddish-brown a.k.a Adel medium brown.
