The Kitchen continues

Despite our best efforts, we have other things to take care of so we can't build the kitchen for 24 hours a day.

We also, to no one's surprise, had to take some things back to IKEA that were wrong. One drawer unit was too small, and one whole 36" base cabinet and drawer fronts were white! It was easy as pie to return but does take time.

However, we are getting something done and are now ready to start hanging the uppers. It's very strange to see a big open space suddenly fill up with cabinets and Lianne was starting to have second thoughts about the layout....

This is not the layout, just a row of cabinets in the living room waiting to be installed.



Same with this bunch of uppers in the family room.



Here we actually lined up the cabinets for the island just to see what it will look like.
